Rotten Tomatoes: 6% Imagine for a minute that we live in a world where someone thought a Chinese film about the heir to the imperial throne turning to a Crusader played by Hayden Christensen who must turn to another disgraced Crusader (Nic Cage) to gain his rightful place on the throne was a good idea. Congratulations, because that literally happened. What could go wrong? Well, everything. The top-billed actors (who are suspiciously not Chinese, lending the film an authentic air of having been invaded, ironically) can't act, the stunt man director should have stayed as a stunt man and everyone involved will have to watch as more than £20m of budget is poured clean down the drain. There's no hint of character development (apart from in the various degrees of mentalness Cage's character displays) and story has been replaced with stupidity. And as the worst analysis, it's impossible to even get any cult enjoyment out of Cage's characteristic lack of restraint.
