Rotten Tomatoes: 5% From someone who legitimately shouldn't be getting any more to someone you could be forgiven for thinking actually wasn't... If Home Sweet Hell had been made by the Coens (which at times it seems to think it was - albeit via Quentin Tarantino's more deranged dreams) - it might have been great. The pitch black comedy at its heart and the ever escalating plot that hurtles absurdly to a bloody end could have been the crown jewels on a smartly written script. Sadly though, the real film is badly written, idiotic and sexist against both genders. Men are neanderthal morons driven only by greed, sex or food and women are all devious, murderous snakes with dark secrets. And they all live in a world where Jim Belushi is both a sound business partner and the guy you turn to for marital advice. And seriously, when is Patrick Wilson going to fire his agent?
