18. That Savage Batman V Superman Joke
Jimmy Fallon saved the night's best gag for something totally unrelated to the incoming President, though, when he noted that Golden Globe darling Matt Damon was in attendance.
He added, "We all know Matt Damon from his greatest acting role, telling Ben Affleck that he liked Batman v Superman."
Ouch, but hilarious. It's all the more galling considering that Affleck appeared later to present an award, so he probably heard the cutting rib. At least Fallon softened the blow of all those gasps in the audience by declaring that he, in fact, liked the film, even if critics didn't and the box office took a major hit.
