It's always fun to scan around the room and figure out who's the most drunk and/or bored, and this year the winner of the "Tommy Lee Jones Award" as we've affectionately named it, is Denzel Washington.

The producers frequently cut to his non-reaction even though he seemed borderline-asleep every time they did it, occasionally perking up when his movie Fences was mentioned but otherwise seeming to have little interest.

Such is the downside of appearing on a show where any spaced-out reaction can be cut to at a moment's notice and plastered on screen for millions of people to scrutinise, chuckle at and turn into memes. Oh dear.
