20 WTF Moments From The Resident Evil Movies

7. Alice's Ninja Clone Army (Resident Evil: Afterlife)

Resident evil score the final chapter
Screen Gems

The fourth movie is generally regarded as the point where the Resident Evil franchise went completely off the deep end and basically started bordering on fetishistic self-parody.

This is evident no better than in Afterlife's opening action sequence, where Alice assaults Umbrella's Tokyo HQ, killing dozens and dozens of faceless guards, before eventually being shot to death.

Of course, it's then revealed that Alice wasn't alone, and the dead Alice was just one of her clone army, who continue to attack Umbrella and chase after Wesker, who just barely escapes in a gunship.

Indeed, at this point the RE franchise enters the "zero f***s given" years, but who can complain about several Milla Jovovichs for the price of one?
