Visually stunning, emotionally impactful, confidently directed, and superbly acted by its ensemble cast, this had all the makings of a sleeper hit - especially with a modest budget of just $15 million.

But Is God Is frustratingly failed to break out, instead failing to pass even the $5 million mark.
