25 Best Anime Supervillains Of All Time
12. Majin Buu - Dragon Ball Z
All villains like a monologue, and it tends to be their words that often make them so terrifying, but Majin Buu makes the cut as one of Dragon Ball Z’s best evil-doers for the exact opposite reason.
The pink gelatin-like dough ball of devastation communicates mostly in baby-like gurgles and child-like giggling, which I’m sure would be extremely frustrating to listen to as someone destroyed your planet.
Like the aforementioned Cell, Buu comes in a number of forms, which are all scary for their own reasons, and not least of which because of their very unique and off-putting character design.
From Innocent Buu, who transforms people into sweets by the thousands and giggles as he consumes them, to Kid Buu, the alien’s original, deadliest and least remorseful form. Like the name suggests, Kid Buu is what happens when you put ultimate power in the hands of a child.
Near omnipotent and capable of withstanding some of the best that Goku, Gohan and a bunch of fused combinations had to throw, Majin Buu is as versatile a villain as they come, but his pink innocence is part of what makes him such a classic heel.
