Bram Stoker's Dracula dominated the box office, making $82,522,790 in domestic sales in 1992 and a further $215,862,692 world wide. The film was also nominated for four academy awards, including costume design, sound effects, make-up and art direction, winning the top three of the four nominations.
The film was also nominated for four BAFTAs, one Hugo Award and ten Saturn Awards, winning five of the ten Saturns, in best horror film, best director, best acting, best costume and best writing. Not bad for a vampire flick produced by a near broke production company.
