John Boyega has made a massive impact on film in a rather short space of time. He had a strong start, debuting with a primary role in British sci-fi comedy Attack The Block, for which he was nominated for numerous awards, ultimately winning a Black Reel Award. After a series of British films and American independent movies, his mainstream breakthrough came when he was cast as Finn in 2015's Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Since then, Boyega has never looked back, starring in Detroit (for which he received praise for his performance) and Pacific Rim Uprising. He reprised his role as Finn in Star Wars: The Last Jedi and will once again portray the character in the franchise's next entry.
With a string of major roles to his name already (not to mention a BAFTA Rising Star Award), Hollywood is undoubtedly the 26 year-old's oyster.
