As we said earlier, the actual look of Bane is the least of the character's problems in his depiction here, but did the filmmakers really need to try so hard to make him into a total joke? Who can forget the ridiculous scene in which Bane is kitted out in a trenchcoat and jacket, while wearing a silly hat and playing chauffeur to Poison Ivy, cementing his status as a lame sidekick? And people had problems with Bane's depiction in The Dark Knight Rises, where he ended up basically being a henchman for a woman. But at least he had a ton more dignity than this crap.
