You'd think it'd be impossible to miss that superhero movies are suddenly incredibly concerned with human casualties - after the careless city destruction in The Avengers and Man Of Steel (especially the latter), sequels have strived to reduce the loss of life and make a point of the heroes trying to, well, protect innocent bystanders. Heck, that's what Batman V Superman and Civil War were both all about. Well, Bryan Singer didn't get the memo.

Seriously, Apocalypses grand scheme causes more destruction and death than the combined efforts of Bats, Supes and the whole Avengers team and nobody seems to care. Sydney? Gone. New York? Gone. Cairo? Ha, gone! And because of some very odd CGI choices the tiny people around these damaged landmarks are clearly visible.

Its 2016. You just cant have this level of obliteration and call it collateral damage. The whole film feels like it came from 2006 anyway, but this feels particular ill-advised.
