Like its predecessor, The Raid 2: Berandal is not wanting for mayhem. Across its crime saga-fit runtime, there is no shortage of limbs to dismember, bones to break, or bullets flying. While there are plenty to choose from, the greatest fight scene of the film comes when our main protagonist, Rama, engages in a lengthy climactic showdown with one of the head bad guys, The Assassin, in a nondescript kitchen. What sets this scene apart from other action films is that despite the frantic editing you can actually tell whats going on. There aren't constant camera cuts after every punch. Also, when the camera does cut, things havent shifted needlessly, practically everything is where it was beforehand. Its essentially seamless.
