11. Morgan Freeman Cracks An Awkward Joke About His Own Mortality
Morgan Freeman was on hand to present the Best Director Globe, and after receiving a huge round of applause, said to the crowd, "Not too much, now. Applause like that means usually they don't expect to see you around much longer." It was pretty funny but also wildly out of left-field for an actor like Freeman, and sprinkled with probably a little truth considering the guy's age. He follows up with, "Although I've not yet had the chance to work with any of these visionary directors, I hope we can maybe work something out in the next 20 or 30 years." It's safe to say we'd all love to think that Freeman would still be acting well into his 100s, but we'll have to wait and see...
