4 Reasons Batman vs Superman Won't Be As Good As Man Of Steel (And 4 It Will Be)

4. Ben Affleck

Yes, you did click "next" on to a different page! There's a positive flip side to Ben Affleck portraying the Dark Knight in this movie and it's as simple as this - if he does even a moderately decent job of it, he'll be exceeding expectations and, at the very least, some people will come away from watching the movie feeling better about it than they expected to. Those open-minded fans who haven't slammed his casting (and those who have slammed his casting but aren't completely stubborn) are prepared to give the guy a chance and a good performance will come as a pleasant surprise - meaning the controversy could work as a blessing in disguise. Affleck is completely aware of all the negative press he's received since he landed the role and has publicly stated that he's read a lot of what's been said online about him, so he'll undoubtedly be out to prove a lot of people wrong. If he does that, this movie could turn out great.
