In this trailer, however, we finally get to see what we're planning on doing about it. The bare bones plot synopsis for Interstellar that we've so far gotten says the film "chronicles the adventures of a group of explorers who make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage." Of which we had previously seen zilch. Thankfully we're back onboard the Nolan train with this third teaser, where we actually get to see some space stuff! Yay! The crew includes McConaughey's widowed engineer - for a minute there we were worried he was just a plucky civilian, and this was all gonna get a bit Armageddon - and Anne Hathaway, who discover that there are "potentially habitable worlds, just within our reach." So it looks like the crew's mission is to travel through this wormhole to find a planet enough like our own to move everybody else to...before it's too late.
