27. Rampage

After working together on Journey 2 The Mysterious Island and San Andreas, Brad Peyton and The Rock are reteaming for an "adaptation" of iconic monster video game Rampage, with Johnson playing the hero - a zoologist rather than a monster.

The cast alongside Johnson is great, with Naomie Harris, Malin Åkerman, Joe Manganiello and Jeffrey Dean Morgan all involved, and you can expect the same non-nonsense spectacle of San Andreas with a healthy side of monster effects and action, which is drawing lots of money thanks to a revival in the genre. And watching The Rock fight monsters and then no doubt uniting with them to protect them from the government is just an excellent idea all round.

The Rock also has disaster actioner Skyscraper coming in 2018 too, because he doesn't like to do things by halves.
