3. Quentin Tarantino
For no other reason than sheer curiosity to see what on earth he would do with the vast wealth of comic book material. His skill for the overly verbose form of storytelling could be a brilliant write up to see the Riddler character finally set free in all his E.Nigma (Comic book win) tic form and see a sparkling conversation filled theme; with the old Tarantino taste for completely mad bloody violence thrown in for good measure. Whilst many of his normal idiosyncrasies may need reigning in (bloody violence, 30 minute conversation scenes) to keep an appropriate age rating available and keep the audience awake. Despite this, it would be fascinating to see a pretty madcap director take a shot at the mainstream and a truly fascinating comic book series.
