5 Reason Why Disney Fans Are Delighted Bob Iger Has Returned

4. Iger Performs Better In Public

Iger has often been a fan favourite but some of this might be how he presents himself. His public facing persona has allowed him to cultivate better relationships.

Even after leaving Iger continued to be outspoken about his thoughts on the Disney company. This was especially notable at the time of Florida's “Don’t Say Gay” legislation.

The public has never quite taken to Chapek in the way they did to Iger. Arguably much of this is to do with his measures, some could be said to be down to his more stoic public persona. He's always been more analytical and his background was never in the tv/film sector like Iger's.

Despite the fact that Chapek was Parks Chairman during the Galaxy Edge expansion years, fans always associated him with the more negative aspects of the parks than Iger. Current Parks Chariman Josh D'Amaro is often viewed more favourably and fans often lay criticism at Chapek rather than him. Again, D'Amaro's Iger like presence in the media and on socials could certainly play a part in this.

Chapek angered many Disneyland annual pass holders by seemingly referring to them as an “unfavorable attendance mix" during a call.

Fans of the company have certainly favoured Iger's style over Chapek.
