1. Man of Steel

You will give the people an ideal to strive towards. They will race behind you, they will stumble, they will fall. But in time, they will join you in the sun. In time, you will help them accomplish wonders. Seeing the teaser trailer for Man of Steel was what got me into Superman to begin with. That Lord of the Rings music accompanied by Russell Crowes voice over (taken from All Star Superman, by the way) immediately sold me on the movie, even before we got a glimpse as Henry Cavill shooting towards the skies. The perfect modern Superman movie needs the right tone, so as to not look ridiculous in comparison to other contemporary superhero films; gone is the cheesy dialogue and the house-hunting Lex Luthor, in their place identifiable themes of choice vs. destiny and responsibility vs. fear of rejection the latter especially clear in the new full length trailer. I can already see Man of Steel shooting up to at least the top 3 of my favourite superhero movies based on the exceptional trailers and the general feel they give. And yes, the new costume does looks stunning just look at that glorious red cape flowing in the white winds of the snow laden landscape, where I assume the Fortress of Solitude will be located.
