3. Atlas
Due to the nature of his association with Superman, Atlas would make for a very interesting movie alongside the man of steel. Although there have been several versions of Atlas, he is generally depicted as an anti-hero (or someone who skates the line between hero and villain, but just about manages to stay on the heroic side) who, despite not liking Superman very much, generally does what he does for the greater good (or at least for what he thinks is the greater good). Ideally, the storyline of Atlas' that would best be used in a live action movie would be the one which sees him come to Earth and get recruited by the government to work on a secret project known as Project 7734 - a project that utilises magic and magical beings in an effort to kill Superman. He has also come to Earth looking to become its new champion and, in order to do that, he needed to defeat the existing champion, which brought him in to conflict with Superman. Either way, it would be great to see Superman going up against a mythological figure in a movie and Atlas would fit the bill perfectly.
