4. Prankster
Once the popular host of the "Uncle Oswald Show" for children, the Prankster became vexed when ultimately poor ratings resulted in his show being cancelled. As a result, he unleashed a series of pranks and carried out a load of practical jokes on Metropolis and its populace - calling himself the Prankster as he did so. But it was when he held Lois Lane hostage (and tried to force her to marry him) that really got Superman's attention. He is essentially a poor man's Joker (and a blatant attempt to capitalise on Joker's popularity with a similar schtick), but the fact is that he doesn't even compare to Gotham's Clown Prince. He is far less malicious than the Joker and nowhere near as interesting and his lame pranks and silly gadgetry are no match for the Man of Steel. He would be a slight annoyance in a movie, at first, but then Superman would dispatch of him with ease. There's just no feasible way that he could be presented as a legitimate threat to the Kryptonian hero on the big screen.
