1. Batman Kills
This is the big one as it doesn't just go against the comics but also goes against the last two films. Believe it or not Batman kills. I'm not talking about not saving someone (although when you are responsible for a train crashing I don't think you can argue innocence to someone on board dying) I'm talking about pulling the trigger. Literally. Yes, Batman stops Catwoman from shooting people but then when the chips are down and there is a nuclear bomb about to wipe Gotham off the map he doesn't hesitate to shoot the crap out of the truck carrying the bomb. He shot the driver fair and square and he caused the truck to crash which offed Talia Al Ghul as well. Now, Talia could almost be gotten around, that was a consequence of her own actions to a degree. The driver, less so. He got shot by a very big gun on Batman's little flying tank. I'm not arguing that this wasn't the right call, and perhaps this is a part of Batman's resignation. He is finally giving Gotham everything. But we aren't talking about his life, Gotham has had that from day one, just no one could take it. It makes me think that perhaps what Batman meant when he said he hasn't given everything yet to Catwoman, what he means is he has yet to give Gotham his morals. This isn't explicit and with all the fast editing avoiding the blood and gore (and consequences) to keep that 12A rating, it is hard to keep track. Still, it certainly feels like the Batman that climbed out of the hole was willing to kill Bane if he had to. He certainly didn't hold back the gunfire aimed directly at the cab of that truck!
