After Mockingjay Part 1 pretty much reinforced the popular perception that it was nothing more than a lazy cash-grab to milk fans of even more money, the stage is at least now set for one final barn-burner of a movie with the concluding Hunger Games flick. Though the Mockingjay novel has been famously controversial with fans, director Francis Lawrence will hopefully be able to wring all the requisite shocks and thrills out of the brutally violent end to Katniss' (Jennifer Lawrence) story. For many, it will be interesting to see how the filmmakers have dealt with the death of Philip Seymour Hoffman prior to the completion of filming, because while Hoffman had one key scene left to film, apparently the script has been reworked rather than recreate the actor via potentially disrespectful CGI. After a relatively snoozy Part 1, Part 2 should be a much more rousing and entertaining follow-up. Release Date: November 20th
