45. The Wrongness Of Killing - Kung Pow: Enter The Fist (2002)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qocbtZGkazgThe Movie: Enter The Fist is a movie within a movie, created to spoof the martial arts genre. Writer/director Steve Oedekerk uses contemporary characters and splices them into a 1970s kung-fu film, weaving the new and old together.
As the main character, The Chosen One, Oedekerk sets off to avenge the deaths of his parents at the hands of kung-fu legend Master Pain (aka "Betty").
The Scene: The Chosen One returns to town and finds that Betty's hostility has expanded to the entire city, and is killing anyone who he suspects may be allies to the Chosen One. He finds that several of his friends are dying in the long grass, only to find they are pulling through and surviving - except for one of them, who is actually dead (it's a lot funnier when you watch it).
Memorable Quote: "Killing is wrong, and bad. There should be a new, stronger word for killing like badwrong or badong. Yes, killing is badong. From this moment, I will stand for the opposite of killing, gnodab."
