50 Infuriating Horror Movie Characters We All Secretly Wanted To Die

39. Piranha 3DD - Chet

Piranha 3DD Chet David Koechner

Piranha 3DD might've been terrible, but it did at least have a couple of tricks up its sleeve; most of all, the perfect casting of David Koechner as human antagonist Chet. Koechner is so great at playing douchebags, and once again, he excels at making viewers want to punch his lights out from the moment he first appears.

He's the stepfather of protagonist Maddy (Danielle Panabaker), who co-owns a waterpark with her. He's immediately established as a pervy, arrogant sleazeball who's replaced the lifeguards with strippers, and his unlikability only increases exponentially as the story progresses.

As well as being a general pain, Chet is also a corrupt businessman who's illegally pumping water from an underground lake into his park, and he only cares about his money, ignoring Maddy's warnings at every turn. And then, when the park opens up and the piranha from the underground lake start killing his guests, he doesn't give a shred of a damn, exclaiming, "It's not my fault!" (yes, it bloody is!) and trying to escape.

What an almighty douche, eh?

Fear not, though, for Chet gets a gory decapitation death just as he's escaping the mayhem, and satisfyingly, this is caused by his pervy nature. When driving away in his truck, he ogles a nearby woman and therefore doesn't see a low-hanging wire until it's too late.
