50 Most Anticipated Movies Of 2018 - Ranked

Ahead of the expected debut of a new X-Men team in the MCU (somehow), there's at least one more addition to Fox's mutant movie franchise as Simon Kinberg steps up to take on helming duties for another go at the Dark Phoenix Saga.

The story - of Jean Grey's latent unstable side growing out of control - is a great one (and honestly does deserve better than X-Men: The Last Stand managed) and there's more than enough talent in the existing cast - with the addition of Jessica Chastain - to make this exciting. Even with the divisive reception of Apocalypse still ringing loud for lots of fans.

Hopefully Sophie Turner's elevation to the main event will inspire a better performance than in Apocalypse, but Game Of Thrones definitely suggests that she has it in her to play slightly more dark roles.
