Originally set for release back in October, this drama sees Matthew McConaughey, Jason Clarke and Anne Hathaway team up with murder on their minds. This stylish-looking neo-noir looks intense, dark and very gripping with all of the leads on powerful form.

Sure, there's a question mark over why it's been shunted into January, but we'll let it fly given the talent. And that extends beyond the cast, as it's been directed by Steven Knight who created both Peaky Blinders and Taboo, as well as having written Allied, Eastern Promises and Locke. He knows good drama, in other words.

It's a tale of coercion, mystery and murder and with the likes of Gone Girl having captured the imaginations of a committed audience group, it could follow.
