2. Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3
Without question the most anticipated MCU film of 2023, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will almost certainly be James Gunn's final Marvel movie, and looks set to be the Guardians' most fraught adventure yet.
Vol. 3 will see the Guardians facing off against Rocket's (Bradley Cooper) creator the High Evolutionary (Chukwudi Iwuji), with Gunn suggesting the film will focus heavily on Rocket and his past.
In addition to all the usual suspects returning, Will Poulter will play Adam Warlock, Maria Bakalova voices Cosmo the Spacedog, and Rocket's love interest from the comics, an otter named Lylla, is also set to appear.
Given Gunn's strong track record, it's easy to believe he'll bring the Guardians trilogy to a satisfyingly emotional close.

1. Killers Of The Flower Moon
Martin Scorsese's follow-up to The Irishman is an adaptation of David Grann's hugely acclaimed 2017 book Killers of the Flower Moon, centered around a series of murders which took place on Osage Nation territory in Oklahoma in the 1920s.
Unsurprisingly the cast for this thing is absolutely ridiculous - including Leonard DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, Lily Gladstone, Brendan Fraser, and John Lithgow - and with Apple spending a tear-inducing $200 million on it, it's going to be one hell of an epic.
Scorsese co-wrote the script with Oscar winner Eric Roth (Forrest Gump), and there's honestly no safer bet for 2024's Best Picture Oscar winner than this - though we'll have to wait and see of course.
Word on the street is that Scorsese is prepping it for a Cannes premiere, so we don't have too long to wait to hear some first impressions.
