50 Movie Death Scenes That Left You TRAUMATISED

Some death scenes hit so hard because of the emotional connection forged between the character and the audience, while others may come out of nowhere and hit with shock value. Most of the entries on this list are here because they are, at their core, incredibly sad, but not all of them. Not this one.

Instead, this moment from the third movie in the Saw franchise was burned into the memory with absolutely no intention of leaving. The entire series was built on gruesome and ironic punishments, but this may have come to a head in Saw 3.

Allison Kerry (Dina Meyer) became the latest victim of one of these sick games as she awoke to find herself inside the angel trap. There's no other way to put it: this was designed to tear her apart, and it succeeded.

As with any other game, there was seemingly a way to get out of the situation, though not without dire consequences. Only after dipping her hand in acid, battling through excruciating pain to get to the key that could save her, did she realise that it did not work, and that there was in fact no escape. Her rib cage was ripped out of her body in what is still one of the most graphic kills in the franchise to this day.
