One of the most interesting parts of Avengers: Endgame is the rumoured time jump that will see the survivors thrust forward four or five years after the Decimation. The first indication that this was happening came when Emma Fuhrmann - best known for Blended, probably) was cast as an older Cassie Lang.

Ant-Man's daughter had previously been played by Abby Ryder Fortson in both Ant-Man films to date, but she was clearly deemed too young to suit Endgame's need for an older actor. She might be good at what she does, but it's hard to magically age five years, particularly as a child.

There are now rumours that Furhmann's casting might lead to her playing Stature in a Young Avengers movie and absolutely everyone should be entirely okay with that.
