Just because... Who wouldnt want to see the Dink in any film? Especially Star Wars But heck cast him as Batman or James Bond! Casting Dinklage in Star Wars would adhere to the same philosophy that brought Andy Serkis into the saga, a matter of getting great talent in to do what they do best, and Dinklage is a stellar talent who graces whatever he is in. It wouldnt be a case of gimmick casting to exploit his dwarfism, just casting a fantastic actor who could slot into the Star Wars universe seamlessly. Who He Could Play Scoundrel, alien. With make-up, without make-up, motion capture/voice-over, a bad-ass renegade Ewok, a Jawa Bounty Hunter, King of the Ugnaughts, Yoda's brother, or a part that has absolutely nothing to do with his size, whatever it is he as cast as it doesn't matter, as Dinklage would no doubt own in Star Wars as much as he does in Thrones. There are likely to be all manner of new roles cropping up over the final two films in the trilogy, so there is every potential for Peter Dinklage or any of his Game of Thrones Alumni to find the recognition of their incredible TV work leading to a part in the ultimate film franchise.
