7 Movie Sequels You Forgot You Wanted

2. Team America 2

Controversial, original, totally nuts. Words fail to describe the hilarity that is Team America: World Police. It's been 14 years since this satirical, distasteful puppet show and there's been a whole lot in the intervening years which could be the butt of creators Trey Parker and Matt Stones' jokes.

The original, counted by Director Quentin Tarantino as one of his top 20 favourite films since 1992, gained massive public attention with its politically incendiary messages. However, it was the film's humour which has ensured a clamour for a sequel. The many cringeworthy, toe-curling moments have lasted long in the memory of those who have seen the film and you can't watch anything with Matt Damon in anymore without a knowing wry smile creeping over your face.

A sequel would undoubtedly drudge up buried controversies, but Parker and Stones haven't exactly kept their heads down since 2004, with the subversively divisive South Park offending people weekly. Perhaps another unabated, childishly offensive, action comedy with puppets, is exactly what audiences are begging for. Team America 2, F*** Yeah!
