3. Kraven The Hunter

Another classic Spider-Man foe, Kraven is a Russian immigrant whose real name is Sergei Kravinoff. He is the son of an aristocrat who fled to the United States of America with his family in 1917 after the Russian nobility was decimated by the February Revolution and subsequent collapse of the reign of Tsar Nicholas II. He is a maniacal and obsessive big game hunter who seeks to defeat Spider-Man in order to prove that he is the greatest hunter in the world. Unlike other hunters, he generally has a dislike of using of guns or bows and arrows, preferring to take down his large and extremely dangerous prey with his bare hands. He also lives by a code of honour of sorts, choosing to hunt his game fairly, though he does use a mystical serum to give him similar strength to Spider-Man. The serum grants him superhuman senses, strength, speed, stamina, durability, agility, reflexes and longevity. He is (obviously) an expert hunter and a formidable hand-to-hand combatant. A founding member of the Sinister Six, Kraven often underestimates Peter Parker's resourcefulness and it proves to be his downfall. His inclusion on screen and subsequent struggle to defeat Spider-Man on his own would be a great way to formally introduce the Sinister Six to the Spider-Man movie universe. A hint towards him in next year's Amazing Spider-Man sequel would, therefore, be very exciting and could easily be manufactured with a post-credits scene of a dissatisfied hunter with bigger prey on his mind.
