6. Lex Luthor's Ally

While the popular theory is that Lex Luthor creates something out of General Zod's corpse which Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman then go to war with (there's evidence for and against that being Doomsday), not an awful lot is known about how and why the heroes end up putting their differences aside to presumably team up against the sinister owner of LexCorp or if they'll even know he's pulling the strings. With Jesse Eisenberg reportedly set to reprise this role in Suicide Squad, is it so mad to think that he might find an ally in The Joker? After all, he has a real thing against vigilantes and metahumans, so enlisting someone like the Clown Prince of Crime for information about the best way to get to Batman would make a lot of sense and nicely sets the stage for their relationship to be further explored in Suicide Squad. Zack Snyder potentially setting up a threat like the Crime Syndicate or Injustice League for these heroes to face off with - rather than clichéd suggestions like Darkseid and Brainiac - is actually a very exciting prospect! An argument could be made that Lex is smart enough to not have to turn to a maniac like The Joker for assistance, but these two have been reluctant allies over the years in the comic books, so this happening in Batman V Superman would be a good way of showing the lengths Luthor is willing to go to. It's also not hard to imagine Eisenberg and Leto absolutely tearing up the screen together!
