Deathstrike was a hilarious addition to the X-franchise, as it was clear that the filmmakers basically thought, 'what's better than Wolverine, who has six claws?' and came up with 'Lady Deathstrike, she has ten!'. But her claw reveal is handled well in the film, as Wolverine comes up with the appropriate response of "Holy sh*t". Their fight scene is one of the best in the franchise, or perhaps even in any comic book movie. The real kicker is the way in which Logan finally dispatches his would-be nemesis; the only way he sees fit is to stick her with the liquid-adamantium pumps, and fill her up like a tank of gas. Hugh Jackman's acting in the scene is what helps make it; as the adamantium begins to leak out of Deathstrike's eyes, nose and mouth, it's too much for even Wolverine to look at, and he glances away in disgust.
