8 Big Questions About The Future Of DC Film Universe

7. What's Superman's New Alias?

While Batman v Superman left quite a few unanswered questions on the table, one point that nobody seems to be bringing up is exactly how - or if - Superman's normal, 'human' life will be allowed to continue.

Because on the same day Superman had his funeral, so did Clark Kent - he's dead. Clark can't just waltz back on in to the Daily Planet, he can't return to live with Lois Lane and it'll be very difficult for him to have a normal life outside his superhero persona.

He could, of course, do the whole 'new identity' thing - new job, new name, new life - and it'll be interesting to see how and when Warner Bros decide to integrate Superman's new alias into the DCEU.

On the other hand, they could choose to do nothing of the sort, and make Superman's role in the universe from here on out... just Superman. Now that he's proven himself to the people of Earth (with his sacrifice) is there really any need for him to hide behind the glasses?

Danny has been with WhatCulture for almost nine years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
