Release Date: 19th December The Talent: Shawn Levy (Director); Ben Stiller, Dan Stevens, Ben Kingsley, Owen Wilson, Robin Williams, Steve Coogan, Ricky Gervais, Rebel Wilson The Story: When the magical powers of the Tablet of Ahkmenrah begin to die out, Larry (Stiller) spans the globe, uniting characters old and new in an effort to save the magic before it is gone forever. Why We Should Be Excited: Maybe 'excited' is too strong a word for this one, but the franchise has garnered enough goodwill that audience's should be mildly enthused about the prospect of another adventure for Ben Stiller's hapless Larry Daley and the, ahem, hilarious parade of historical figures played by well known comedians that graced the previous two movies. Look, Night At The Museum is hardly the type of movie that people will be camping out all night in front of their local multiplexes to get a ticket, but it's still a big release in the month of December so it deserves a mention. The previous two entries in the franchise have provided enough gentle amusement, and Ben Stiller is always worth watching. There is also the added poignancy of this being the late, great Robin Williams' last live-action performance (he leant his voice to the sci-fi comedy Absolutely Anything, due for release next February).
