There are some who may class this final entry as a bit of a reach, but it's the sort of possible hidden detail that feels just too good to ignore.

In some deleted scenes from Revenge of the Sith, Padme Amidala was part of a group of people secretly trying to form what would go on to become the Rebel Alliance, while her husband Anakin Skywalker would eventually fall to the dark side, become Darth Vader, and help lead the new Galactic Empire alongside his master, Emperor Palpatine.

And both of the symbols those two opposing sides would use throughout the Galactic Civil War were secretly present during Episode III scenes involving the parents of Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa.

Who will ever forget Padma's iconic line when Palpatine announced the creation of the Empire? The large object found on the back of her head as liberty died with thunderous applause looked incredibly similar to the starbird logo boasted by many a Rebel later down the road, no?

And when Skywalker is agonisingly put into his suit at the end of the film, there's a shot of him on the operating table that puts him right at the centre of what looks like a giant version of the Imperial crest.

Sure, they could just be coincidences. But it's much more fun to live in a world where Lucas secretly planted a few nods to two of the most recognisable symbols in all of Star Wars in scenes involving two characters that were vital to the groups' creations.
