3. Mockingjay Director Spoils Mockingjay
Hollywood's publicity machine is so well-oiled and its stars so well-trained that it's getting to the point where you hardly even get accidental spoilers anymore. Tell that to Domhnall Gleeson, though, who may have just signed his own character's death warrant in Episode VIII by revealing a certain 'Starkiller base' will feature in The Force Awakens.
Star Wars fans were on that one immediately, dissecting the meaning of the name like a pack of latterday Sherlock Holmeses. This wasn't the only significant spoiler from one of the major panels, however - it's just that the one that The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 director Francis Lawrence dropped didn't go widely reported.
Fans of the books will already know of course, but those coming to the movies fresh should avert their eyes now: when asked what to expect from Mockingjay Part 2, Lawrence responded, "this time [Katniss is] finally going after Coi-", before stopping himself. Coin, of course, is the rebel leader and all-round good guy in Part 1 - or so you thought.
