8 MCU Characters Who Deserve Their Own Movie

Of all the original members of the Guardians of the Galaxy, none have stole the show quite as much as Rocket. A complex, selfish, loud, intelligent, genetically enhanced raccoon who starts his MCU journey as a freelance criminal concerned only with profit, Rocket has grown into one of the franchise's most dependable and lovable heroes.

One of the heroes left alive by the Snap in Infinity War (2018), Rocket ended up playing an instrumental role in the Endgame (2019), aiding Tony Stark and Professor Hulk in creating a time portal, retrieving the Infinity Stones, and eventually defeating Thanos once and for all.

Currently set to re-appear in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Rocket's emotional journey is clearly far from over and will be further explored in James Gunn's long-awaited threequel. But what about after that?

A prequel detailing his origins would make for an interesting addition the character's story, especially since little is actually known about where he came from. Or maybe a movie could show fans what he was up to after the Snap, when he was a member of the Avengers protecting Earth with the other heroes.

Whatever it is, a stand-alone movie about Rocket Raccoon is destined to be a hit. Whether with the Guardians or not, he's proven to be an excellent character and a hero crying out for some solo action.
