Thor: The Dark World obviously ended with Loki sitting on the throne in Asgard, having fooled the God of Thunder and everyone else into thinking that he's Odin. The fate of the All-Father was left a mystery to fans, but with Odin being so hard to kill, the most popular theory has been that he's imprisoned or has been banished somewhere. Well, if one report is to be believed, it's going to be the latter option. For some reason, Odin has apparently "fled" to Midgard after the events of the last movie, and is now trapped there (the site that broke this news seemed to contradict themselves there, so I would guess that he's been left stranded on Earth rather than running there to hide from Loki, especially if the next part of this story is true). The fun thing here is what exactly Odin is doing now that, like Thor before him, he's powerless. The one-time King of Asgard is wandering around like "one of those crazy-looking 'the end is nigh' street-corner hobos, warning of the impending apocalypse," and that last part actually gives us an idea of what Loki and Hela may be planning together. It also sounds pretty damn hilarious and will no doubt be some very interesting material for Anthony Hopkins to play with as he takes the character in such a different direction.
