8 Most Outlandish Thor: Ragnarok Rumours

4. Thor's Going To Galactic Prison

There's been talk for a while now of Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor being taken off the board for Avengers: Infinity War - Part 1, making the return of this beloved and iconic trio in the second half all the more amazing (and no doubt the moment we finally get to hear Steve Rogers say, "Avengers Assemble!"). What happens to Thor in his next movie? Well, he's not going to die, but he will be imprisoned! Described as only a "galactic prison", details on who or what ends up defeating the God of Thunder have not been revealed, but Thanos being responsible certainly makes sense. After all, The Mad Titan will no doubt be making his way to Asgard to both take revenge on Loki for failing him in The Avengers and to get his hands on the Tesseract, so Thor running into him at some point in Ragnarok could work really well. Using the movie to set up the events of Avengers: Infinity War would be smart, and Thanos so easily dealing with Thor would be a great way to show moviegoers what the villain is capable of after previous appearances featured him turning around, sitting down, and, er, picking up a glove! What this means for The Hulk is also tough to say, but perhaps he'll just end up being lost in space?
