8 Sci-Fi Movies That Re-Used Props From Other Movies

7. Terminator 2 - Predator's M134 Minigun

While most of the items on this list are surprising re-uses of purpose built props, this one concerns the recycling of a mundane item. Okay, so an M134 Minigun hardly counts as especially mundane outside of the standard American household, but it is a standard mounted machine gun used by military forces around the world.

In Terminator 2: Judgement Day, we see Arnold Schwarzenegger's T-800 wield one of these to subdue an entire car park full of police (an impossibility in real life as a minigun needs external power and would be far too heavy to fire from the hip) - somehow without a single human casualty.

Similarly, in 1987's Predator, Jesse Ventura's Blaine Cooper rampages through a paramilitary camp, using an M134 to mow down foes with ease. Interestingly, this is the exact same Minigun that Arnie then used in T2, rather than simply the same model. While it's likely that the reason is down to there being a limited supply of massively oversized weapons in early 90s Hollywood, it's more fun to imagine that Ventura just had it lying around and loaned it to Arnie.
