8 Times Actors Broke Up On Movie Sets

Milo Ventimiglia is no stranger to co-worker relationships, considering that he dated Alexis Bledel for several years after meeting her on the set of Gilmore Girls. The actor did not learn his lesson after he and Bledel broke up, however, because he began going out with Hayden Panettiere soon after they began acting together in Tim Kring's Heroes.

Their relationship began towards the end of 2007, but by early 2009, it was all over. After splitting up, the pair had to continue to work together on the series' fifth and final season. Dating a colleague is something that Ventimiglia said he would never do again, although he claims that he learned a lot from the experience.

According to an anonymous source, their breakup was due to their differences in lifestyle, which was exacerbated by their 12 year age gap. While Panettiere was still in her teens during this period and liked to go out partying, the 30-something year old Ventimiglia preferred to concentrate on his work, apparently.

Panettiere went on to have a child with heavyweight boxing champion Wladimir Klitschko although they later broke up amicably. Ventimiglia tends to keep quite a low profile, but it seems that he remains single.
