8 Ways Suicide Squad Improved On Batman V Superman

1. It Leaves You Feeling Excited For More

Batman V Superman descended into a wall of noise and flashy CGI that was more tiring than thrilling, and while it teased the hell out of Justice League there's a good chance audience members were more excited about stretching their legs than the prospect of another movie. Two and a half hours in multiplex seating is no joke.

Suicide Squad by its very nature is a cool concept because it means a new line-up each time, and they can end up going on all kinds of wacky missions. Thanks to the comic there’s a wealth of material and characters to draw from, the movies can be a darker alternative to the DC superhero films and fans will want to see more from characters like Deadshot, Harley and Boomerang.

The post credit teaser even sets up the possibility of the squad coming into conflict with Batman (we know Deadshot isn’t a huge fan) which is a mouth-watering prospect for the next adventure.

Way more exciting than a solo Aquaman solo movie, at least.

Handsome. Charismatic. Intelligent. Noble. Witty. I'm none of these things, but I'm a half decent writer, I guess.
