In a somewhat surprising move, The LEGO Batman Movie director Chris McKay and Sandra Bullock are teaming up with Netflix to make Millarworld adaptation Reborn for the streaming platform.

Netflix announced that they're unveiling a Millarworld series of movies back in 2017 and Reborn's choice as a flagship for that expanded project will suit fans who had it as a favourite for adaptation. According to Deadline, the Millar/Greg Capullo created series "tells the story of 80-year-old woman, Bonnie Black, who dies in a Manhattan hospital only to find herself reborn in the prime of life in the afterlife world of Adystria, a magical land of monsters and dragons where good and evil are waging an eternal war. There, she finds old friends and loved ones waiting, except the husband who died before her. Armed with a sword and partnered with her late father, she sets off through the battle-torn landscape on a quest to find out where he is."

Bullock will produce and is rumoured to be leading the cast. Quite what it means for McKay supposedly making Nightwing remains to be seen...
