7. Plenty O'Toole - Diamonds Are Forever

Of all the characters to not consummate their relationship with the British spy, it is staggering that someone called Plenty O'Toole would be on this list. The character is indicative of the extremely disposable manner in which the women were treated during this phase of the mega franchise, as well as the insanely sexualised names. She is largely irrelevant to the plot, flirting innocently with Bond at the Craps table, before scoring an invite back to Bond's apartment.

After arriving in the hotel room for a night of passion, the now topless O'Toole is thrown off the balcony and into a pool. The scene is also memorable for one of the great non Bond lines in 007 films, when the gangster exclaims "I didn't realise there was a pool down there". Ouch!

Having survived this meeting with Bond, O'Toole is unfortunately mistaken later in the film for Diamond smuggler Tiffany Case, and is permanently taken out of the picture. The manner of her demise isn't fun either, left to drown after being tied to the bottom of a pool.
