9 Filmmakers Who Apologised For Their Movies

6. Sam Worthington - Clash Of The Titans

The charisma explosion that is Sam Worthington never really broke through as a major star, though it wasn€™t for lack of trying. He released Avatar, Terminator: Salvation and Clash Of The Titans in quick succession, though people tended to remember the special effects more than him. He€™s man enough to admit when he doesn€™t do a good job though. He once spoke honesty about the mistakes made on Terminator: Salvation, and he flat out admitted Clash Of The Titans wasn€™t much use. He apologised to fans in an interview for the sequel, saying €œI think the first one, we kind of let down some people. I think I can act f***ing act better to be honest.€ That critique could probably be applied to most of his roles, in fairness. Hopefully it€™s a lesson he€™ll apply to Avatar 2, 3 and 4 if they ever happen.

Handsome. Charismatic. Intelligent. Noble. Witty. I'm none of these things, but I'm a half decent writer, I guess.
