9 Movie Spoilers We Didn’t Know Last Week (May10th)
3. Namor May Appear In A Future MCU Movie
During the press rounds for Captain America: Civil War, screenwriters Steve McFeely and Chris Markus were asked who they would like to introduce in future MCU movies (as they will also be writing the Infinity War saga).
The one name that came up? Namor the Sub-Mariner. McFeely said, "He is kind of a jerk and has a chip on his shoulder and he is a king and lives underwater. The degree of difficulty is so high, though. Cause it could be a great movie or it could be truly terrible."
While this is of course no indication that Namor will be showing up anytime soon, the fact that the pair are such fans of his suggests they could make a bold move to include him in the franchise sometime down the line, be it as a core villain or a bit part akin to Baron von Strucker.
