9 Post-Credits Scenes That Were Axed From Movies

1. Deadpool 2

Deadpool 2 baby Hitler
20th Century Studios

At the end of Deadpool 2, the foul-mouthed title character gains the ability to travel in time, a gift he utilises in order to save his girlfriend from death, as well as stopping Ryan Reynolds from making some bad career decisions.

With a franchise centred around fourth-wall breaking and meta commentary, the filmmakers really could have made these scenes about anything in history, no matter how random, weird, disturbing or hilarious. And... well... those four words could certainly be used together if you were looking to describe this cut scene.

Put simply: Deadpool goes back in time and tries to kill baby Hitler. Yup. Fortunately, we don't see this murder onscreen because Wade gets cold feet and can't go through with it, and instead, he promises to return with Cable, who "loves killing kids".

The scene was ultimately cut because the filmmakers felt that it was too bizarre a note to end the film on, but it was later released for the public to see.

Danny has been with WhatCulture for almost nine years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
